Only 3 more days until the big day. I hope everyone is safe and has a very relaxing Holidays.
If you missed out, this past weekend was an AMAZING time at Lifepointe. We kicked off the weekend with a successful Youth Christmas Party on Saturday night. Pizza, TONS of videogames, prizes, ELF, and a brave Middle Schooler that was duct taped to the wall. Then Sunday morning brought one of the best services Lifepointe has brought. Perfect music (one of the best renditions of Silent Night I have ever heard) and a powerful message from King Jamey.
The future of Lifepointe is looking brighter than ever. CHECK BACK SOON, for details on future Ignite dates/events. I PROMISE you will not want to miss out on the journey.
Have a great week.

It's a Long December
Welcome Christmas season. December 1st has come way too fast and I am enjoying it more than ever. If you don't know much about me please know that Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Just ask TJ Beeler or Andy Driscoll about my random dreams of living in the Land of Christmas. Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying the freezing weather. Hopefully snow will soon follow and the freezing to death will have a purpose.
This is our last Sunday in the theater so please come out and support LPC. We will then be transitioning to the new building on Dec. 13th. I am REALLY excited for what God is going to do in the lives of students across Louisville. This is YOUR chance to get involved. I hope everyone is having a great week.
Here is the info. on the HIGH SCHOOL MOVIE:
When: Sat. December 5th
Time: Movie Starts at 3:00pm and we will be Leaving the Church at 2:15pm
Cost: Price of Movie Ticket and Snacks if you want them
*If parents are driving students then they can be picked up from the theater at 5:30pm.

Pilgrims and Indians
Two nights before the dreaded BLACK FRIDAY I began my journey to my wonderful third shift job. As I passed Best Buy I happen to notice the one lonely tent camped out in front of their doors. A four person blue tent, cooler, and lawn chair were all this dedicated shopper needed for this holiday season. It reminded me a few things that I had forgotten about our society. Here is ANOTHER list:
1. People REALLY enjoy cheap laptops that break within a year
2. While I would be eating my delightful turkey this foolish camper would be freezing his butt off in the night for crummy electronics
3. Finally, people so easily forget what life is all about
In all seriousness, take time these next couple of weeks to reflect on what God has given you. Too often we become victim to the materials that we gather around us.
AND here is the events/info. for Ignite from Facebook:
I hope everyone is having a great Holiday weekend. I ate myself sick twice. On to other things, here is what we have coming up. Please take into consideration some events are being modified because of the moving into the new building so patience is needed.
1. Middle School House Party (Sunday, Nov. 29th)
Location: Hillary Brown's House (2817 Murray Hill Pike- Louisville, KY 40242)
Time: 5pm-7pm
2. High School Movie Night (Saturday, Dec. 5th)
* We will be meeting at the church to help with the work day then be leaving from there to see a movie
Time/Cost: TO COME SOON
3. YOUTH Christmas Party (Sunday, Dec. 13th)
* As far as I know the Youth Christmas Party is still good to go BUT things have been mixed up with the building
Location: MAYBE new church building
Time: TBA
Cost: TOTALLY FREE!

Goblins, Ghouls, and Candy Corn OH MY!!!
Quick note, candy corn is the worst Halloween candy is the history of candy. Reasons why...
1. It looks ugly
2. You can't hand it out to trick or treaters because it's not wrapped
3. It taste like vomit sugar wax
4. It looks ugly
Moving on, this Sunday is the end of the Encountered series. I hope everyone is asking the tough questions about what they believe. Too many times we follow anything and everything without asking why.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween. Don't play with any Ouija boards, I have seen Paranormal Activity and the outcome is grim. See yall Sunday.

Big Weekend at the Pointe
So it's Monday and I FINALLY got to sleep for more than two hours. I consider that a good day. Anyways, this weekend was pretty awesome for Lifepointe. Started off Saturday with the Fall Festival which was a great success. Jared and Ryan guided me to see the disappointing waterfall, David climbed around the barn yelling at the animals, Sara gave me a TON of Halloween candy. Everyone's costume looked great. I give the prize to Cody the ninja ghoul guy and Caleb with an awesome paint job.
Sunday was just as great. At Ignite AM week looked at another story of Moses encountering God. Next Sunday's Ignite AM is DEFINITELY something to look forward to.
High School House Party consisted of amazing chocolate chip cookies, Gremlins (great movie), and a little testimony time.
Hope everyone has a great week. Middle School House Party this coming Sunday from 5-7pm. BE THERE and bring a friend.
QUESTION for the Week: Do you know things about God or do you KNOW God?

WELCOME!
Welcome to the first ever Ignite blog extravaganza. I am glad that I have spell check on the computer because spelling 'extravaganza' was a little difficult for me. Anyways, I am glad you have visited the site. I will be trying to update the site with event dates, helpful tips for life, and of course an outlet for me to try and be funny.
PLEASE, let me know if you see anything on here that looks stupid or needs improvement.
Yall are awesome!
